Finally I got another dev up. Even if it's a quickie doodle 'n' color.

Wheee! This here is Comet.

When people hear his name, more often than not, to his dismay, they think about Santa's reindeer, or worse, Cosmic Baton Girl Comet-san. His parents say, though, that they named him that because he was *ahem* made when his parents were watching the Leonid meteor shower. (They just said that Comet was a better sounding name than Meteor. And that Leo was too common.)

He's a fresh grad from the Academy, and he's actually pretty much a prodigy. But a lot of pressure is on him because his dad was an inspector, so people thought that he's sort of a teacher's pet, that he only got to where he was because his dad pulled strings.

He's a 24-year-old detective, though he doesn't look it (especially in this picture). That's because he dislikes wearing a coat and tie (he feels stiff and all that); he prefers to wear casual clothes unless he's absolutely required otherwise. He's got blue eyes that turn blue-green when the afternoon light hits it. His hair is light brown, but, for some reason, it turns darker as it grows, so he's got dark brown tips. He loves astronomy, mostly because of his name. Using his words, "If I'm gonna be named after something, might as well like it, yeah?"
